THE WENDLING BECK JOURNEY STARTED IN EARLY 2020…

We had left Europe, farm subsidies were declining, we were becoming ever more concerned about climate change and how it impacted our world and finances, and COVID came along…something changed. The world stopped rotating for a moment, and we had time to stand back, reflect, and talk to our neighbouring farmers.

We started thinking about what we could do differently. How we could reinvent our businesses to make them more resilient and deliver more back for nature, local communities and wider society. We realised that to make a difference, we needed scale. We needed to collaborate and deliver something bigger and better than we could do on our own.

So together, we did just that, and here we are, embarking on that journey to create habitat, help mitigate climate impact, reverse biodiversity loss, engage with people and communities and share our experiences with others. We can’t change the world, but we can spread the word, which might change the world.

An integral part of our project is to raise awareness about the significance of nature recovery and conservation. We strive to inspire people to take action and become active participants in protecting the environment. Our nature experiences and Wildscapes Cabins are designed to encourage a deeper connection with nature and an understanding of its ecological importance.
